Violinist Hayley Pomfrett

A huge thanks to the lovely and highly talented Hayley Pomfrett who came down to Kent for a location shoot.

I have carried out photo shoots for a number of classically trained musicians as well as other music artists which helped Hayley to find my website via a Google search. She specifically wanted location photography and gave me a fairly loose brief. I came up with a plan and put together my preferred team involving Linda Francis for make up and Cara Mood for hair styling. Both Cara and Linda are highly talented in their specialist areas and are always my first choice for make up and hair styling on photo shoots. Working with them regularly has established a fantastic team and the client always pays compliments to them both.

Having contacts with a number of venues and locations, I settled upon a beautiful mansion set in parkland near my home town of Royal Tunbridge Wells. A big thank you to Salomons for as ever, being so co-operative.

Carrots for the Daily Mail Weekend Magazine - 9th April edition

Existing client of mine Prestige Distribution was charged with the formidable task of unpacking every single Daily Mail Weekend magazine, inserting seed packets and re packaging for distribution across the country!

The whole process was like a well-oiled machine and I was commissioned to not only capture the event through images, but also through moving images. Once editing is completed, the two short films will follow in May and will appear on YouTube, as well as the Prestige Distribution website.

Product photography - Making the mundane look interesting

Thanks to Top Line Water Chemistry Systems, for commissioning me to photograph a number of their latest swimming pool products.

Many will recognise the lights from underwater swimming experiences but you can also see the jiggery pokery that makes it all work. The control unit operates the pumps and the filtration system and the challenge was to make the photography interesting for their product catalogue and brochures.

London Fashion Photography with Danish Wakeel - New Collection - DANDY MEETS THE METROSEXUAL

Sunday saw myself and my photographic assistant Mark Baron shoot the new collection for Danish Wakeel at a stunning central London penthouse flat. What a great place for fashion photography in London!

The great thing about being the photographer for many types of artist is seeing the immense talent within those different genres and within the artists themselves. The shots will be used for book covers as well as publicity.
